THE PROJECT
Project Background
The project aims to support the Thai Government's efforts in revitalizing Thailand's agriculture and food sectors by fostering partnerships between local and international stakeholders, including technology providers and farmers. By implementing innovative solutions grounded in agroecology principles within key value chains, the project seeks to enhance the sustainability of Thailand's agricultural production.
The outcomes of these initiatives will be shared widely to encourage the adoption of innovative practices and further strengthen the sustainability of agricultural value chains in Thailand.
The project began its work on 1 January, 2024. It builds on the findings of the first German-Thai Cooperation Project to Promote the Sustainable Development of Cluster Farms in Thailand, which was successfully completed on 31 December, 2023.
