OIL PALM

PHATTHALUNG, THAILAND

Our Oil Palm Cluster Farm Group is from Kuan-Khanun District of Phatthalung province, Thailand. The group members have experiences and knowledge in oil palm production. They use household labors mostly while labor cost for activities in plantation is high. There are oil palm residues that the group wants to make them useful. Also, there are factory and biomass plants available in surrounding area.

CHALLENGES

-Had limited technology and knowledge related to residues management and how to add more value to them
